For almost six years, I've been running Leapers - our award winning project supporting the mental health of the self-employed. In that time, we've supported over 200,000 people through our community, content and partners.
But I've always wanted to do more, and provide a better structure for helping people to work well. So - I'm starting to design something which sits alongside our community called "Work Well With Leapers".
It's going to be a combination of a course, workshops, community and a living document called a "Working Wellbeing Plan" which will help you to:
a) understand the the foundations of working well as a freelancer
b) explore and discover the things which influence your own mental health
c) build a personal reference guide for when things aren't going well
d) build a plan to create a stronger support network, healthy habits, better boundaries and clearer communication.
The programme is built upon the years of conversations, insight and research which underpins Leapers as a community, the foundations of self-employed wellbeing, and it's a project I've been wanting to invest in for a long time.
I'm going to be opening up the design process, so that anyone who wants to input and get involved can - so I can make sure the framework is as valuable and accessible to as many people as possible. I'm aiming to invite the first cohort late summer / early autumn - but there's lots of work to be done before that.
It will be a paid for product - to help cover the costs of developing and running the programme, as well as funding the rest of the work and resources we make available free for all.
If you're interested in finding out more, getting involved in the co-design process, or would like an invite for it launches later this year including an earlybird discount, click the link below, leave your email address, and I'll follow up soon!
